What exactly does our offense look like next year?

There’s no way we can run a viable offense next season with a WR room as depleted as ours and what is essentially an entirely new OL because Heard will have little to no in game reps with any of the other starters going into this season. I just don’t see a world where having an extremely raw QB with that type of team around him ends well in the SEC. I guess the only bright side to it is it should force Heupel to make changes due to the pressure he’s going to be receiving this time next year

Oh boy one of the resident nega trolls making a thread. You don’t see it because you aren’t the coach. You have shown time and time again you don’t know that much. You are trying to forecast next year when this one isn’t even over yet.

I mean Heupel hasn’t demonstrated he can field an offense right? Heupel has forgotten more about offense than everyone in this board, including you combined.

Answer this seriously. Did you see our secondary being this much improved? Yeah I am sure you will say you did. But most, including myself, thought we would be screwed in the secondary. Lo and behold what happened? You and some others are insufferable.

Name a WR we have gotten from the portal? It is late December and we don't have anyone yet. I do some focus on OL and give coaches kudos there with the Arizona pickup and hopefully that Northwestern guy.

The lineman from Northwestern committed to LSU. He committed to TN on Christmas Eve. However, word leaked so LSU and others called his handlers to offer more NIL $$$. LSU was the winner. 🥇 🏆 💰 💰 💰

So we got one OL from Arizona while half our team hit the portal. GREAT. Sounds like we are in for a rough 2025.
The interesting tidbit is we needed players to hit the portal to sign the 25 recruits. Plus, we gave a scholly to RB Bishop who was a walk on last season. We will need more to leave if we want to add players from the portal.

I keep forgetting about the dang scholarship cuts. Heupel has done great considering that.
It’s frustrating. I initially thought we would sign about 8-10 from the portal: 2 wr, rb, LB, two
O-linemen, 2 DL, DB. It looks like it may be around 3-5. We need a minimum of two WRs, LB, RB and another o lineman.

Heupel’s offenses have looked like dogshit for two years now, and next year it is going to have less talent than he had his first year
