There is no excuse; Vitello has recruited top 5 every year to a baseball program that has basically never been good. Caldwell has the number 1 ranked class with 4 5 stars. There is simply no excuse, especially since Heupel has been winning.

And why ? Why would Vols recruit over Ohio State that had lost like 8 games in 6 years ? Or defending champs Michigan ? Or GA /AL ? Or Miami/USC that is amazing city for Athletes ? Or TX that wins and has way too much money ? Or LSU that has more wins than us in last 5 years and a NC .. you want me to keep going ??

The expectations for UT simply don't match the reality of what our school can do. I believe it was deerpark who laid out some sobering numbers for UT vs the.major players in recruiting. We're just not big or rich enough
