I'm just fishing, maybe BleedingOrange or anyone have an inkling if Rick Barnes has something up his sleeve? I would think depth is an issue at this point, missing Estrella and now Carr, we are one key injury away from a wrecked season.

I don’t think there’s many guys who can come in and immediately learn the demands of Barnes system and contribute over 9 other guys who have been here and in that system and earned his trust for 6+ months.

There might be a small window to enroll between 1/21 and the drop/add deadline a few days later.

So Barnes still has 3 or 4 weeks to get new players eligible.

I’m not sure either, just voice googled “invited walk on” and he popped up. Given the style of play though, invited or not, as long as they aren’t being relied on for scoring, CRBs style if being executed is more plug and play than most coaches across the country. Imo
That goes for walkons too. Doubt it comes to that much if ever though, even with a thinning roster.

It's Grant Hurst - he played at UT-Martin before being invited to walk on at Tennessee.

But fwiw, I think all three freshmen this year were also invited.
