As we close out 2024, what were your most memorable (in a good way) Tennessee sports plays of the year?

For me, baseball comes to mind first. Maybe the Black Burke hit to tie the game in the bottom of the 9th against FSU in Tennessee's opening game of the CWS?

Not representing UT as it was an international meet, but VFL Jordan Crooks set a world record and was the first ever swimmer to complete a 50 SCM in under 20 seconds, an absolutely massive barrier breaking swim.

Edit: also worth mentioning he has a great chance of taking down Dressel's (gator, bleugh) SCY record (18.63) this year at NCAAs

It’s been a phenomenal year for UT athletics but the CWS has to be the most memorable this year.

Hunter Ensly play at the plate. I’ll tell that to my grandkids one day. The Blake Burke check swing? Yeah definitely something I’ll be able to talk about in the nursing home.

Tony Vitellos epic speech “ You’re either a Vol or not”

What a damn good year for UT athletics.
2025 is setting up to be just as good.

Lady Vol’s on pace to break the most 100 pt games in a season and a darkhorse to win it all.

Men’s Basketball #1 in the country currently

Lady Vol’s softball also to be in contention to win it all.

Vols baseball- nuff said.
