Cal is so predictable when he loses to Tennessee. Queue up the “we got out physicaled by men”. It’s every time he loses to us which is a lot. This is kind of indicative of why he’s started failing as a coach..like dude wake up. It’s a lot more than being physical. He does nothing different from year to year. We out scheme his teams. His teams don’t run an actual offense. He doesn’t adjust during games. The physicality is a small part but for some reason that’s the only thing he points to after we work his teams. Reminds me of Holly Warlick when she would say post game “I don’t know what the problem is”. It’s you coach. You don’t coach lol

He always says “You better be prepared to fight…like fist fight” after every game he plays us. He tries to make it sound like it’s a compliment, but really he’s just trying to whine about our physicality and act like we get away with fouls we shouldn’t be getting away with.

It’s never a compliment with Cal. It’s just a way to complain but not look like it.

Can’t stand the guy but unless my ears are playing tricks, he said “I don’t mean fist fight “.
But is did say Chaz is “pretty good”. Actually didn’t even respect the name… called him that one transfer. 😆

Yeah, he said "I don't mean fist fight...", which I appreciate. That narrative was put out there a few years ago when we played Duke in the tourney, so I appreciate Cal qualifying his statement. And I thought Cal was talking about Igor, not Lanier. Could be wrong.

Tough to say with just that one transfer.

Edit… I just assumed Chaz cause he led w can stretch the defense. And even though Igor can, he hasn’t really done that yet here by making shots, just his ability to make em.
