"Numbers from Florida tell part of that story. Tennessee hit 13.79 percent in the first half. It shot 21.4 for the game. It finished four of 29 on threes. It wasn’t even good on free throws – 15 of 25."

"Zakai Zeigler was a warrior but didn’t have much to show for the effort – 10 points, one assist. Chaz Lanier scored 10 but hit one three of 16 shots. Jordan Gainey was worse – one for 11. Felix Okpara didn’t run from the fight. He scored eight and had seven rebounds. Igor Melicic had identical results."

21%? Think about that. ZZ with ONE assist? Lanier with 10 Pts? CRAZY numbers. And to Florida! Barnes has a chance to show his ability now..

This was the largest ever defeat by a #1-ranked team in the history of the AP poll.

Edit: 2nd largest ever in the regular season. An article I saw posted the heading incorrectly.

Ya really need to do a little research. There were two others.

“The Vols avoided the worst loss by a No. 1 team with a run late in the contest. No. 2 Kentucky beat No. 1 St. John's by 41 back in 1951, for the biggest margin of victory.”

The other was in 1968, when Houston was defeated by 32.

…and yes, if I see it in yet another thread, I’ll call attention to your ignoring of facts.

I read an article that worded it incorrectly, dumbass. It’s the largest in 57 years and the 2nd largest ever in the regular season.

Not sure all that is called for. No axe to grind, just trying to keep the record straight. I could goes as far as “historically one of the worst losses ever” Without a doubt.

The only good thing about this is that maybe now our team understands what they are up against.
Still...that was not entertaining. Life is way too busy to waste on a "game" like that.

We lost by 30 but it happens. It’s a long season . Just have to be healthy and in sync come tourney time. Don’t care for conference tourney. Rather be one and done and rest up before the 6 game pressure cooker gauntlet. No pressure in regular season or conference tourney. But once the NCAA tourney starts you see the dire straits your teams in. Awesome tourney. Ultimate Pressure Cooker.
