Does the band do this at every game?

Yes. Most college bands do a procession to the stadium pre-game. One of the few moments the band gets to put on a show for fans at home games. It's not unique to us.

Still shooting for Arkansas or Oklahoma next Fall to be my first game at Neyland. Just wondering if the band does a walk/show outside before every game? This must be an awesome sight watching the band and then a tsunami of orange heading into the stadium. ( Also love the woman’s voice in the background!)

Yes. They March across the bridge beside the Student Union, come down the Hill, stop in front of the side of the Hill where people are listening to the pre-game radio show, turn and perform their "Salute to the Hill" before continuing their march into the stadium. It's long been an integral part of the gameday pageantry at Tennessee.

What is unique to us, and IMO it's one of the greatest sportsmanship traditions in all of sports, during pregame our band stops and plays the opponent's fight song in front of their cheering section and band. On the other hand, one the most unsportsmanlike-like traditions in all of sports is when Bama's band plays rammer-jammer after a victory.

Goosebumps I miss Knoxville. What's a very mountainous nearby area (as a WVian this means within an 75mins) to live off grid? I likely can't afford within 15 miles, this is for undeveloped not sky high housing

40 years ago, we did the same at Oklahoma, but only when the visitors didn't bring a band. If they had a band, we let them play their fight song before we continued with our pregrame show. Not sure if that is still the case.

This is an old video that was filmed on the overpass in front of the Student Center. Now the band procession goes through the overpass so you can't really stand on that spot and watch the band anymore. However, if you go through the pass and then up the hill towards Ayers Hall a bit, you can sit on the hillside and watch the band coming through. It was a pretty good spot. Not very crowded and you had some shades above you too.
