Wasn't Pretty

But this team showed heart tonight. Got it done when it counted. We have a lot to improve on, but on a positive note Felix and Dubar looked a lot better tonight.
Go Vols, and let's get back to form at home against Georgia!
You'll likely think I'm being a jerk by saying this, and I'm really not trying to be, but was this worthy of a new thread? I agree with the content of your post, but it could have been placed in the game thread. JMO.

Who are you, the thread police?
Just making a thread where people could post some of their final takeaways from the game. What we need to do moving forward and whatnot.
Maybe even a little celebration after that beat down Tuesday. Lighten up, there's a lot more things in the world to be upset about.

Like I said, I figured you would take it that way. Wasn't my intention. Post away.

Playing on the road in the SEC is extremely difficult.
Yep, and I think they showed they can win in more ways than one, which is what I was concerned about with DK leaving and Lanier having to shoulder the load. Got a lot of good play out of others tonight and didn’t have to depend on him or Gainey.
I am thankful for ZZ. It’s hard to beat experience like he has

An SEC Road victory is worth 2 wins at home.

Vols had more of an inside game than they showed in Gainesville.

Well bro, it was kinda a jerk-ish thing to say.
It's not like we've had an over abundance of threads or someone had posted something similar. Imo, there hasn't been enough threads.

To answer your question tho, for reasons I listed I think it was "thread worthy". In addition, I posted a thread last game being critical of some players and the team, I think it only fair I made one giving some credit.

Even so, you probably don't need to worry about it because if people don't necessarily like a thread it will just drop on down and off the page.

It's kinda like natural selection but for threads.

To be fair, it wasn't really a jerk-ish thing to say if you receive it with an open mind and acknowledge that I tried to preface it with my intention to not come across as a jerk. In that case, what I said should have been viewed as no more than constructive criticism. If I didn't care how my message was received, I'd have just said quit clogging up the forum with every thought that pops in your head. But because I think you had good intentions and I sincerely had no intention of being mean about how I delivered my opinion, I tried to preface my comment as such.

You're free to disagree. Sorry if it hurt your feelings. Again, it wasn't my goal.

Others did their part in the end of that game, but he was the closer. It's what you expect to see out of your senior point guard.
