Will Lions Trade for Milton?

Tennessee fans know both Joe Milton and Hendon Hooker, who was drafted by the Lions. When both were on our team, Milton was the starter until he was injured. Then Hooker got his opportunity and led the offense with crowd pleasing performances. He moved chains, lit up scoreboards, and turned our offense into one of the best in the nation, leading the team with personal discipline and dedication. Then Hooker graduated, and Milton started the next season. I thought that Joe played well, but who did not notice the drop in performance from Hendon Hooker? Now Joe Milton is the player getting buzz after a very good game quarterbacking the Patriots, and there is talk of the Lions trading for Milton. Will the Lions have both Hooker AND Milton on the team, like we did?

He is all over the board with his opinions. Also has Joe going to Indianapolis and to Pittsburg. Said Peyton Manning will replace Heupel. Mods might want to delete this thread.

Goff just signed a VERY lucrative contract extension with significant guaranteed money.

Lions are basically stuck with him for at least another couple of years.

Hooker is obviously not going anywhere in Detroit. Them bringing Teddy Bridgewater out of retirement and elevating him to #2 basically ended Hendons career there. Wish the Lions would just trade him to somewhere where he could at least get a shot

IF (big if) the Lions cared enough to trade for Milton then Hooker would be either traded for whatever the Lions could get for him or cut after training camp.

What an idiot!! There is no way in hell Detroit is thinking of dumping Goff. He had a very bad game but most of the year was putting up MVP like numbers. But even if they were, no one, NO ONE is putting their eggs all in a Joe Milton basket because he looked decent in one game against backups. He does realize that all of Milton's college starts are on film doesn't he? I like Milton and think there is a chance that he becomes a starter one day but seriously?
