Seems like we had considerably more success on designed OOB plays last season. Can any of you guys who are more knowledgeable on the details of these plays explain what’s happening differently? Was it all having a talent like DK who seemed to either get a dunk or a corner 3 ? TIA

To me... its cause you don't have Vescovi, JJJ, or even Aidoo setting the screens this yr.. its a combo of the screen setter and who's coming off of it. DK came off the screens damn near perfect and with the intent to shoot or get the oop..this yr you just have ppl trying to get open to get the ball in it seems.. thats just my opinion 🤷‍♂️

The baseline OOB plays are a Rick Barnes staple. It will come in due time. Usually whenever you least expect it. There have been memorable OOB plays on a yearly basis.
Yeah, we've been consistently good on in-bounds plays for years. One, or even two games, doesn't set a trend. Some posters will always look at the last game played when posting such a thing
