I dont know, so Im gonna ask.
It would be tough to get a real total number of how much is coming in!
Do private Universities, Vandy, ND, etc have to report anything??
How much of the areas below are reported, how much they brought it and where did it go?
Especially the Private Donations.........that has to be huge for some schools.
Does ALL this get divided by all Athletics at a University.........Baseball, Basketball??
And how doe Title IX play into all this??

notre dame needs to be forced to join a conference because they don't have to share any money with anyone and thats ridiculous

wait, you hate capitalism?

The problem is Notre Dame would have been given $12M from the CFP even if they went 0-12. If Notre Dame isn't going to be in a conference and the can benefit exponentially more than everyone else by making it into the playoff then how much should they earn if they don't make it? Granted that is the low end of the range for payouts to P4 conference teams but they do get to have it both ways in a way no one else does for a making a deep run. Notre Dame is getting to have it's cake and eat it too -- along with a bottle of Cristal. Slive and co. got duped by ND big time.

The thing I would like to know, and it’s probably not available, is what our whole NIL structure looks like. Starters vs backups, 5 star vs 4 star, position by position. Obviously you have to be flexible within that structure, but there has to be a plan based on the $ available. When revenue sharing starts, I’m betting everyone gets exactly the same or close to it, and NIL goes to the most important players to supplement beyond that. It’s a fascinating exercise.

ND has never been in a football conference.

Did you know, everyone gets a guaranteed amount even if they go 0-12?

SEC/B1G schools get 21m each.
ACC schools get 13m each.
B12/ND get 12m each
Group of 5 get <2m each.

That’s before money paid for appearances, which go back to the conferences and distribution may vary.

Yes, I'm aware. But no one else is allowed to keep extra playoff money earned all to themselves.
