Lamont Butler listed out on injury report.
Their 6-11 forward Andrew Carr is most likely not going to play either. Listed questionable. He's been banged up since the Alabama game, so if he does play he won't be 100 %. They may just end up resting him for their game with Arkansas Saturday.
I got two words for us,

Beat Kentucky and Florida this week and we should be back in the top 5 IMO. We need Auburn to slip up a couple times, or else nobody is catching them in the SEC. We got 3 straight games against #12 #5 and #20 and they’re all at home. Win those 3 in a row and they might start considering us for a one seed again.

Most had us 5 last night & Iowa State 4, I would think A. That counts as consideration already and B. There’s a good chance today we’re the last 1 seed

We'll slide into that #4 spot if that happens. If Bama loses to Mississippi State and we beat Florida we'll take that #3 spot. We'll get that #1 seed back, too.
A lot big "ifs", tho. First thing first, hand Kentucky their 3rd straight loss!
If Alabama beats M.S State, we have a chance to settle things with Alabama later in the year at home.

Couldn't beat them without their starting point guard or forward.
Disappointing to put it midly.
I'm done with excuses for this team and it's offense
Same. I don’t want to hear about oh Chaz is in a slump blah, blah, blah. He has been less than impressive e since conference play started. We will be lucky to get a 4th or 5th seed. I fully expect another loss to UF. We aren’t a top 5 SEC team.

Need to stop jacking 3's and find out who on this team is capable and more importantly willing to take the ball to the hole.

Are Vandy and Miss St not in our conference?

I must’ve missed the latest round of re-alignment.

I’ve read here that Lamont Butler is on the injury report, and it looks like Andrew Carr might sit out too. He’s been dealing with some issues since the Alabama game, so even if he plays, he won’t be at full strength. They might hold him out for the Arkansas game.

We're honestly the same team as 2 years ago. Great defensively with lots of role players and no one to takeover a game when we need it. DK had the ability to take over and get his own shot. We don't have anyone on the roster who can do that consistently. Chazz is a streaky shooter who is going to make a bunch if he shoots a lot more. Going 11-45 last night from 3 is ridiculous and Barnes let the game get away from him. We can't score with Kentucky, Florida, Alabama, or Auburn. I agree, we're at BEST the 5th best team in the SEC.
