Current top 10 coaches in CFB (ON3 rankings)

Do you agree? Who would you drop/add, or move?

I do not agree with that list. I do not think Kalen De Boer is not bad but I do not think he is that good of a coach to be top 5. Then, Franklin is 1-16 vs top 5 opponents. Dabo used to be a very good coach and now he is a dinosaur. Brain Kelly is WAY TOO HIGH. Some of these coaches though, I cannot really find someone who I think is 100% better than them outside of the top 10 except maybe brain kelly.

Agree...I'm not a huge Dabo fan, but he should be in the top 3-4, just based upon his accomplishments, though, like Fulmer, it seems the game may have passed him by. DeBoer had Penix to elevate his Wash team and lost to Vandy for first time in forever...maybe I'd put him 10. Wouldn't have JH in there yet either, but that's just me.

DeBoer in the Top 5 is debatable
I think he’s a good coach; I also think he will be fired though. Just not a fit for Bama.

Kelly is laughable. Day honestly I think isn’t a good coach; they finally got him enough talent and coordinators to get him over the hump. If this was a year ago Ohio State doesn’t even make the playoffs.

DeBoar is a good coach but top 5 right now is laughable. He isn't even top 10, imo. Even though USC has struggled, I would still rate Lincoln Riley over DeBoer.

Also, I get that Dabo is a dinosaur in this new ERA of CFB, but he has 2 nattys under his belt and he's won 9 games or more for 14 straight seasons, and in 8 of those seasons he won at least 11 games. That he isn't number 3 behind Day is insane.

Ryan Day wouldn't sniff the top 10 if he wasn't at Ohio State with a well compensated Chip Kelly calling plays. And same goes for a lot of those guys at other schools. If they had Ohio State's resources, they'd be ranked where Day was.

Kelly has been there for 1 year, and up until the CFP, pretty much every Ohio State fan wanted Kelly fired.

Ryan Day has a career .875 winning percentage. He's elite.

I've never heard many buckeye fans asking for chips head. After ttun, yes there was a sizable minority or weirdos asking for blood, but Kelly hasn't really been on the chopping block like day has with the fans

I ca not bash Day as a coach. He is responsible for all aspects of the football program and e had the best players, the best coaches, called the pbest plays and beat the teams in the playoffs by wide margins. I am also pleased that they have recognized Heupel as a top ten coach. I do have problems with Kelly and Dabo. DeBoer is ranked on his work at Washington. He was not a top ten coach last year. I hate to admit that Franklin is a good coach, but he is. Look at what e did at Vanderbilt and you have to I've him credit for what he has done.
