ESPN, I'm sort of with you. I don't like UGa, and agree it is a pleasure to have fun at their expense.

But on the other hand, I don't like Texas either, and it sure looks as if you've gone out of your way to favor the Longhorns.

Just wondering what the going rate is for pretending not to notice that your algorithm puts (7-1) Texas in front of (6-2 but actual conference champ) UGa in the SEC standings. How much those burnt orange fellas paying you for this ongoing 'oversight'? Huh?

Noticed this right off the bat, back in December, but kept waiting for the ESPN geeks to fix it. It's February. If they were going to, they would've by now. So it sure seems intentional.

Screw the Dawgs. But screw the Longhorns, too.

Cmon man take 2 minutes to look at other standings. Everyone has Texas above Georgia because they have a better record in the SEC regular season. If ESPN is on Texas payroll then so is google and the NCAA and Fox and every other media outlet.

Cmon man take 2 minutes to acknowledge that (a) Georgia won the SEC this year, and (b) ESPN calls that web page the "SEC Standings." Therefore, UGa should be listed at the top.

Unlike basketball and other sports, there is no "regular season champ" in football. The teams don't play each other enough for that to have any validity. Instead, it is decided on the field in the conference CG at the end of the season.

Even if others are making the same mistake, you're never right just because others are wrong with you.

While that is true the SEC record standings are for the regular season and Texas had the best SEC record in the regular season. Should it include the post season and SEC championship? Yes. But it doesn’t and you can’t really get mad at ESPN for doing something everyone does. There are plenty of other reasons to get mad at ESPN.
