Igor Milicic 21 points, 10 boards, 5 assists. His 3 point shooting has been really good the last 2-3 games which we’ve all been saying for us to reach our full potential, Igor has to get to his historical averages on 3’s.

Honorable mention to ZZZ who was very accurate tonight with 21 points and 8 assists.

Igor is really starting to find his groove it looks like. ZZ and Okpara both had good games. I would love to know what’s wrong with Lanier. He doesn’t look remotely the same as he did earlier on in the year.

I think Chaz has hit a wall. The SEC is so physical and he isn’t used to being held and grabbed all game. Idk the answer but Barnes said Chaz works on it in practice.

Lanier is just fine!

Let’s focus and give love to the guys who had a great game tonight… Chaz is a SHOOTER, he’s gonna have great night, and not so great! He’s still growing just like anyone else on this team! Plus, he’s on the top of every team scouting report! But he’s just fine!

It’s great to see that this team is capable of putting up 85 points against a great team without Chaz production.

Both players were great but shout out to Okpara. Thought it was one of his best games in a Tennessee uniform. Blocking shots, playing great d, made some big free throws. He is really starting to come around and find his role.
Bounced back from a really tough start. Was fumbling passes and missing bunnies for the first 5-10 minutes but really turned it up.

How do you know he is on the top of every team scouting reports?

If I was making a scouting report on us, the top 2 things to try and take away would be open 3s from Lanier and lobs from ZZ to Okpara/phillips. Teams weren’t taking those away early in the season but have done a much better job of it in conference.

And as a result, ZZZ is getting more layups as the shot blockers have to hang back to defend the lobs.

Igor has got to keep driving and he will be a force. These guys have got to create some on their own. The can’t ride ZZ very deep into March.

Idk!

I just took a “wild” guess!! I would think your “leading scorer” who has a quick shot release, would easily be one of your opponents biggest target, but I’m wrong, you right!

The next time I see Chaz, I’ll be sure to ask him wassup with him lately, so we can “accurately” answer your question!

Chaz faced a real defense tonight. He looked largely lethargic getting to the screens and turning to shoot. He worked his tail off vs UF and it rewarded his stats. He can't create his own shot like his predecessor. So, if he's not going to go all out using screens to create separation, then his offensive will be pretty pedestrian.
