Again, I submit a thread for responsive comments. The LVs hired a coach with minimum time to develop a staff, and limited knowledge of available candidates.

Now into the Feb-March reality of the SEC. Obviously the recruiting coaches have proved their competence.

Do the LVs have position coaches who can maximize the development of needed skills to become elite. (note, how many football teams, strive to hire the best proven position coaches)

Kyra Elzy, is an example, hired by SC, previously same position at UK and UT before becoming head coach at KY.

To add to my open-ended question, I believe that the LV Head Coach will be a far better coach next year from experience gained. so I ask about coaches focusing on skill development of players

Great question. You might remember the EXACT specific details of each assistant's assignment was demanded many times on this board last year. Haven't heard that yet with this lot. Not sure who handles what. Did I once hear Tubner was a post coach?

Whatever Lazo and Tubne do I'm glad they're doing it can they can recruit like son of a guns.

If I'd ever felt that way I certainly wouldn't have said it publicly. That just comes across as petulant. Quietly putting a hurting on us every she played us would have been pretty sweet.

We talked about this earlier and decided given this crappy entitled attitude and the fact Gilbert had problems at AZ, not rushing to call her was probably a choice, not a bug of the system.
She entered the portal on March 20th. Harper was fired April 1st. Caldwell was hired April 7th. I'd say Tennessee probably was late to call her since the current head coach wasn't on campus until she had been in the portal for three weeks and, if her On3 profile is accurate, had already taken visits, including to LSU. If Kim called her on day one, she would have been "late." This was a nonsense comment.

Thanks for that!
