Bama throwing a fit

Alabama should be more concerned about passing legislation doing away with state income taxes on NIL deals. And, the fact that Nick Saban suggested Georgia do the same.

Byrne should be summarily fired just for the stupidity of saying something so obviously embarrassing to the university. Alabama fans should be ashamed that their AD would make an inane, loser comment like that, but I'm sure many are right on board.

As was stated earlier, they likely won't have to worry about that happening much any more, at least in football.

I didn’t think we should’ve given them the satisfaction this year .
Exactly...and I didn't think we were going to at first because the student section held in place...UNTIL...they saw the recruits section directly across the field from them pouring out to celebrate...any here they came. It was a great victory tainted, IMO, by storming the field. I FULLY expected to beat Bama that day. Why storm the field? However....Bama AD can forget changing the rule to forfeiting a win by storming the field. Silly to even suggest such absurdities.

I didn’t even know we stormed the field until later that night from seeing it on social media. Some people might say that it’s just kids having fun. That’s fine, not against that, but we’re trying to get to the place where everyone storms the field when they beat us, not the other way around. Not when we beat them the previous time at home. To me it’s reflective of the mindset of the program overall. We should expect to beat everyone we play at this point . If/when we beat UGA in September I don’t want to storm the field. I’m sure we would, but that should be the last time for a longtime . Barring some sort of “Kick 6” or “Dobb Nail boot” type of finish I think we as a program have eclipsed the level of rushing the field after a victory over top 5 opponents.

Alabama has bigger problems than worrying about being owned by the State of Tennessee. They need to figure out other methods of cheating now that other teams can legally paying players.
I agree with the sentiment but Byrne suggesting the winning team forfeit the game is kind of another way they can cheat their way to a victory.

Been saying - for years - how those bastards cheated their asses off. Now that everyone can pay legally, they're phucked and know it

Man… I could not have said it better! I was at the game but my brother wasn’t. Talked to him on the phone like 30 minutes after the game…his first words were…”at least we didn’t storm the field” 😂. Apparently ESPN had time to wrap it up before the field storming happened. He didn’t know. He was NOT happy about the field storming.

The field storming was shown on TV live. That being said, I'm not sure if I watched via the live TV broadcast or via the app. It could be possible that the app maintained coverage longer as there was no need to cut away to another game and this is how I saw it live.
