Good summation. I can't root for Bama if it's underwater basket weaving. And, do like Bruce, just from a personal standpoint. Sat next to him at a big orange caravan event in CLT years ago, where Fulmer and Pat were also there, and Bruce went out of his way to spend a good bit of time talking to me when he obviously had to work the room. Very considerate, transparent and funny.

Yes, Oats is better and has a higher ceiling. Pearl is a great motivator and does well in recruiting and gets the most out of his players, but IMO Oats is a better Xs & Os coach and is a high IQ coach and he is just a hard out.

Maybe this has been discussed before, but with the SEC Tournament now at 16 teams, seeds 1-4 get a double bye and seeds 5-8 get a single bye. Four first round games on Wednesday and four second round games on Thursday.
