Barnes needs to stress to the guy's the importance of getting off to a fast start. Design some high percentage plays to help us get off.
I'd like to see Okapara clearing out for ZZ and him driving to the basket from the get go.

My favorite part of Chaz's game today was he played angry and drove to the basket like a man. He got mad at his own film from last game I'm bettin. Good on him. ZZ is always a force.

I also want to shout out Okpara. His numbers weren't lighting it up but he got pissed and didn't back down. I think that fired up the team.

After a game like this, they're going to need a week off with 50 2nd half points.
I love the coaching strategy. If the 3's aren't falling, at least on a consistent basis, TAKE IT IN TO THE RIM, DRAW THE FOUL, AND SHOOT FREE THROWS.
That is the way basketball was before the 3 point line was installed.

Great games from all 3.

Thought Chaz used the shot fake more today and got some cleaner looks because of it.

Hopefully mashack uses this game as a confidence builder and is more assertive heading into March. He’s a capable guy on the offensive end when he’s playing with some confidence. Would like for him to attack the rim a bit more looking to finish.

Zz needs to aim to get in the lane every possession. Good things happen when he pressures the defense.

I saw a video of an intense shooting drill with Mashack, Milicic, Lanier and Gainey. I think it was taken a couple of weeks ago. They were running the drill and it consisted of intensely moving around the 3 of line having to make 5 from a given spot then an immediate move around the horn to another spot. They wore it out, constantly pushing each other to go as hard as possible. Mashack held up and looked as good as the others throughout the drill

ZZZ had great second half,Lanier man up and fought, Mashack gave extra points to help ,Okpara played like a 5 player needs to,mean and strong. POG, entire team for fighting back for a win ,they could have folded.

Watching the first half of that game. I was thinking man. We are in trouble if ZZ doesn’t start doing his thing. And the second half he did more than that. Didn’t see it coming to be honest. Great comeback and hopefully a start to some
Positive momentum.
