They at home so they had the advantage anyways. May make then play harder, but I'd say it wasn't going to take much to get them up for that game inthe first place. Now we can expect added incentive on their part and a greater chip on the shoulder effect coming off a loss. How much difference do any of you think this will make, and how do we match up against the Aggies? Thanks, Go Vols & I'll hang up and listen.
Home losses are never good for the Net, but yes, they were playing a highly ranked team. Some of the Net is driven by efficiency, too. So they put up decent points on a good defensive team,Although it probably isn’t certain a home loss to NET #16 would have bumped them out of the top 30 but possibly.
Texas A&M would still be a Q1A opportunity on the road.Yes you are correct - but as I understand things, the selection committee actually breaks Q1 down further into Q1A and Q1B, so wins against Q1A count even more. I’m sure you already know this, so sorry for being obtuse - but it seems like beating aTm with a better record could help us in at least a minuscule way …

We are just going to have to sack up and get us a signature road win this Saturday if we want to keep that #1 seed alive.
A&M did not drop at all in NET rankings due to the loss and Missouri moved up to #13, so it actually strengthened our resume. It also helped us in terms of SEC standings.Yes you are correct - but as I understand things, the selection committee actually breaks Q1 down further into Q1A and Q1B, so wins against Q1A count even more.
