Cooper Mays excluded from NFL scouting combine

westwords -- What we have here is a difference of opinion. It bothers me.
National Football League godfathers decided Cooper Mays wasn’t a proper fit for an honored space in the scouting combine. I thought the Vol center deserved an opportunity. ---- Yes Mr. West, it is a slight to a guy who gave his all for Tennessee on and off the field. Click westwords and read the rest of the story.

He reminds me a little of Jeff Saturday. Jeff was undersized for center but turned out to be an all-pro. I'm sure Cooper will get some tryouts and hopefully impress and make a roster!

Sucks not to be invited to combine, but he has a ton of good tape and will make a good showing on pro day.

Would be very, very surprised if a team doesn't pick him up even as an UDFA.
