With Kansas dropping out, Tennessee now has the second longest AP Poll appearance streak at 76. Houston is first at 102. Purdue third at 55.

All things considered we in a nice spot.
Basically a lock for a 2 seed and in still most likely in control of our own destiny for a #1 seed.
Just need to keep the dubs coming!

Also Houston has to go play at 10 Texas Tech and then host an unranked Kansas team that will be in must win mode for seeding

Doubt it happens but I hope Kelvin Sampson retires before Barnes because I expect our streak to end the instant he leaves. I don’t see some 40 year old coach coming here and being able to build a roster that voters believe is a top 25 team in preseason.

It would be a nice feather in our cap to say we have the longest ranked streak in the country.
