When he transferred from Ole Miss I was hopeful but mostly 'meh.' His numbers just weren't good there. But he has obviously improved since being at Tennessee, which is a huge testament to the coaching staff and their ability to identify talent and coach up.

He definitely has improved since coming to UT, but his peripherals were there. That's what is most important when judging a baseball player's future potential on.

The college season is so short that ERA can be deceiving.
