westwords ---Terrific strategy, Coach, great idea to be waving for a timeout while secretly signaling Shack to take two dribbles past midcourt and sink the shot of his lifetime with half a second to spare. Lol Marvin West! Mashack will forever be remembered for the "Shot heard round the College Basketball World" as Tennessee hands Auburn the outright SEC title by shocking the sellout crowd at Thompson Bowling AND the Crimson Tide. "The enemy of my enemy is my friend; indeed"! Enjoy The rest of the story-- westwords..

Couldn't be happier for the kid. We all want him to be more aggressive offensively but he plays his role and when the opportunity came, he answered. Hopefully he builds more confidence in his shot cause he clearly puts the work in. Gbo

Jahmai is a rare player who takes pride in doing all of the difficult things in a game that don't garner much personal praise. He just does so many of them so well that people have to take notice. As much as I wish that he was a little more aggressive in offense.....he seems to know when he absolutely has to be and tends to deliver.

I love that he will always have this moment to remember that is all his own even though he won't look at it that way. But fans will.

Remind me of that guy who played for UNLV named Stacy augman. Wait for the Hawks for a while too. Probably scored a little better than meshack, but had that defensive scrappy glue guy mentality.

"Two games remain in the regular season. Tennessee plays at Ole Miss in the middle of Wednesday night. The Vols finish at home on Saturday afternoon against South Carolina. That will include an honors segment for the seniors." And after all the emotion in this game, the Vols will need to dig deeper than ever to beat Ole Miss on the road. It will be a big challenge with Ole Miss on Senior night. And Scar played lights out on Saturday too. No rest.....
