not too worried about them.

the article says they beat 3 ranked teams last year. those were Georgia Tech, UNLV, and Miami.
they beat our common opponent, NC ST, by 7.
they lost to Stanford at Syracuse, and got blown out by Pitt, and lost to Boston College.

they have lost their star QB.

Brown has them trending up, but hasn't really shown that he really made a good team just yet.

That is an incredible roller coaster ride of a season. UNLV and Miami were both a win a way from the CFP and GT was a solid squad. Stanford, Pitt and BC were pretty bad.

Fran has done a very, very good job at 'Cuse so far.
That record shows they are a few players and some quality depth from being real contenders in the ACC.

If the new ACC deal goes through, Clemson and Florida State will be getting tens of millions more dollars than schools like Syracuse, Wake Forest, Boston College, etc. Couple that with a smallish stadium and the money gap will grow very fast in the ACC. Will be interesting to see how long Syracuse can keep him if big time programs go after him. After 2030, all heck will break loose in the ACC anyway.
