I would take this bracket all day

100%..........I'll take my chances with a Michigan in sweet 16 and a Mich st/ texas tech / or miss st elite 8 match up. Think we'd fair well actually
For sure, not that there is ever an “easy” bracket- we could lose to anyone in the field. But on paper this is the friendliest route to an elite 8 I’ve seen us projected in.

I think people are discounting just how good BYU is. Seen a lot of our fans wanting their matchup. Personally, I think it would be a brutal 2nd round game, but there aren’t going to be many easy games after the first round anyway. BYU is very good though.
People don’t realize this isn’t past BYU, it’s not 8 unathletic white guys jacking up 35 footers, Kevin Young has them playing very well and a style we’ve struggled with

I agree. Saunders will score a lot of points in this tournament. I think they are being over looked. I think they are a solid team.

Yeah and they are a hot team right now- but assuming the other 8 seeds win we could have Creighton , ole miss or UConn instead.. I don’t think BYU is the best of the 8 seeds.

I thought that last year and picked them as my darkhorse, then they flamed out in the first round vs. Duquesne. Of course, that was with Pope at the helm. This year's team is different.

To heck with that. I want the best. I would like to see a UT vs Duke championship. Bring on the best teams. I'll never understand why everyone wants an easy button.
Because someone is going the easy button. Might as well be us. Winning is winning. No one will care in 5 years who you had to beat to win. Just beat whoever is in front of you. If it's Coppin State, then great. If it's Duke, then that sucks, but go beat them.

We had the easy button two years ago and that didn't work out.

I want to avoid any game with Mich St. Hopefully someone puts them out before we get them. I personally think Izzo is the best tournament coach in the country. He take an average team and wins. If he has talent, watch out.

I'm not scared of anyone, but I would prefer not to play Michigan State in the tournament. Izzo always has them ready.

Seriously...like it's a no-brainer

So many unfounded March Madness myths start to circulate around this time of year. It’s maddening.

You want the higher-seed. You want the easier matchups. Location doesn’t matter beyond the first 2 rounds. People like to over-complicate this so much. Just waiting for the narratives spin up again about how we don’t want to go out West “because our fans won’t travel.” Our basketball fans don’t travel regardless of where we go. Give me the higher seed!!! I feel like I need to shout out from every rooftop with how many people are seriously arguing for the 2-seed again.
