Tennessee, Florida, Auburn, Alabama against each other.

W L
Tennessee : Auburn, Fla, Ala Auburn, Fla. 3-2
Alabama : Auburn Auburn, Tn, Fla 1-3
Auburn : Tn, Ala Tn, Fla, Ala 1-3
Florida : Tn Tn 1 -1

We are the only team to beat the other Bigs in this conference. We have the best overall record. We don't play anyone we haven't already beaten. It's a 4 team wire to wire finish and I don't see anything indicating that we can't win it all. Now just waiting to see the results of this Fla/bama game. Oh, our two losses were on the road. We will have home field advantage tomorrow.

Well it messed up my stone age formatting but I think you can make it out.

Florida has beaten Auburn, Alabama, and Tennessee.

They're about to beat Alabama again.

The big problem for Tennessee at this point is the eye test is going to matter. I've been worried my being an alumnus and fan was clouding my judgment, but I'm past that. Florida's the best team in the SEC. I'd argue they're the best team in the country.

None of this means they won't lose tomorrow or in the NCAA tournament, but I've seen enough to come to that conclusion.

The committee may have as well

I think there will be a lot of national overreactions and recency bias with Auburn losing lately, Florida dominating bama, etc, but I still think Auburn is the best team in the country.

Flordia beating Bama minus Nelson.
Not to mention if we were to do to Florida what we did in Knoxville there will be a completely new narrative tomorrow.
Alabama ✔️ Auburn ✔️ Flordia x 2 ✔️
i.e Maybe that orange team from Knoxville is a better team than we've been giving them credit for.

Close your eyes and throw a dart. Crazy how these games take on lives of their own. The death nail for Auburn was getting into 1-1 w/ like 13 minutes left in second half. I could see UF, UT, Aub, and Bama get hot. It seems maybe Bama the lesser of the four.

Maybe but I would argue bama might just be the most motivated of the 4 now

I think Florida is the deepest and most balanced team in the country. Todd Golden is the wildcard, for me.

I thought Alabama was after last night. Till I read that they have the worst D in the SEC and Kentucky is next to worst.

Were any of the Gators starters injured in Knoxville?

I think you all winning today sealed the 1. It also sealed the top 2 seed for us after we beat Auburn. I could be wrong but even if we beat you tomorrow I don’t think it’ll matter.

The #1 Seed is guaranteed at least a 9 in the 2nd round.

A #2 could get a 10 in the 2nd round.

I just imagined the selection show and the reaction of those in Durham or Houston if they saw Florida pop up as the #2 seed in their region.

I don't think the committee is going to do that.

If we take 2 out of 3 from them, how do they ignore the head to head. I also think some informed voters discounted our ref engineered loss at AU. That got lots of ESPN airtime.

You all absolutely earned it. Your nonconference schedule is the only knock against you but I’d say 3-0 against Bama and Auburn on the road offsets that. If we were only 1 loss worse than you tomorrow would matter but you’re 2 games better. That’s too much.

All four teams held the #1 ranking at least at some point this year. We had it for about 5 weeks. Auburn held it for about 6 weeks. Both Bama and Florida got to the #1 ranking as well. I bet that has never happened before. Such a tough league.
