Lady's played really well that game. Now with even more experience with the press and rest it will not surprise me to get the upset. The turnovers the last 2 games have been exciting to see. When CKC has 3or4 players on the team with couple years experience it will get even better. Just need a couple of bigs to hold down the interior.

Probably the logical choice would be TCU who are not as talented as Notre Dame although they did beat them this season at their place.

If we can find a way to rebound with Texas and keep their bigs from sticking back their misses were headed for the elite 8. That is how Texas will win miss shots and get the rebound and score. Just have to hope they have one of their bad days when their bigs don't rebound and were able to speed them up a little. Cause they like to play in slow motion use all that 30 second clock so we'll have to be really good in the half court defense. I predict if we shoot 45 percent and are even on the offensive boards for the game we will win it.

I would say TCU but they have our achillies heel in Prince in the middle so i have to go with NOTRE DAME on this one neither have alot of depth so that cancels that out

What killed us the first time was Jones and Moore with offensive rebounding and putbacks on top of the leaks in the press giving them freebies...looks as though we have corrected some of the leakage in the press force them to score on there on they are so horrific offensively we will always be in the game just keep it repectable on the boards..

I say if we hit shots on a good clip which allows us to setup in our full court D will be essential. If we are shooting and one & done with Texas getting rebounds and going up court at the regular pace. This is a bad recipe for us we need to speed them up and get them out of their normal SOP. Their bigs especially Oldacre cannot play at that pace, although Taylor Jones surprised me last time we played, she has a good motor. Like another poster mentioned Jones misses a lot of bunny shots but almost always rebounds her own miss and puts it back.

Agreed. I believe the LVs will handle the boards--both defensive and offensive--this time. I see the Elite 8 coming around the bend for the LVs. GBO.

Topic deserves its own thread but
I‘ll throw it out here! Something’s gotta be done quickly about the jump ball possession arrow or the game is ruined! Really it’s gonna become unwatchable! Simple solution! NEW RULE:
defenders hands must initially touch ONLY the ball! Touch offensive players skin it’s a foul! PROBLEM SOLVED,

CKC needs to get in the refs ear before the game about Jones camping out in the 3 second lane. I remember watching the first game screaming at the TV about her not getting called for being in the paint to long. That's one reason she rebounded so good. Hopefully no SEC refs this game and they will watch it closer.

Texas's offense is mostly dribble drive motion...Not only do they score most of their points with that attack, but the other team usually gets a lot of fouls trying to stop them.....It is a sound offensive game plan, especially if the refs are calling a very tight game, which they usually are.

I wish they would go back to jump balls, The rotating possession arrow is silly.

How many fair tosses do you get ? One gets the ball on the way up ? Reviews Reviews. Don't think they will ever go back to jump balls , they do it to start the game because it doesn't matter when they rotate. The fair way would be just give it to the defense for getting the tie up.
