I'm more surprised this guy wasn't getting better offers.

won back to back state titles at Lancaster, 2 time Virginia HS Player of the Year in Class 1... averaged 26 ppg, 5 rebounds, almost 5 assists and 3 steals as a Junior at Lancaster

I can only assume he got "lost" a bit playing his senior season at John Marshall. He scored a lot less points, but his % didn't dip and his assists numbers went up. So maybe at John Marshall he was asked to distribute more or something.

In terms of public schools in central VA, John Marshall is typically loaded. Not surprised the stats would go down a bit.

PWO? We literally just offered him today, and only has mid major offers
We have a lot of spots to fill next year, you’ve gotta take a guy or two like this in the current NIL state if you’re gonna fill your roster out entirely. With that said, kid doesn’t look bad on film could definitely contribute at some point if he sticks around.

He committed well prior to senior season, still played AAU and then senior season committed and signed to Fordham…he de-committed 3 days ago and immediately scheduled a visit to Tennessee.

I like the addition...don't know how he'll develop or if he'll even finish his career here. But I think having some of these overlooked guys on a roster help you as a team.

Does this end all the RB retiring talk? I doubt Henderson would've committed if there was a coaching change and I'm sure RB was upfront with him
I don’t think Barnes has decided anything, I fully believe that, so if that’s the case you have to recruit like you’re coming back or August will get here and you’ll have 5 guys on scholarship.
