Kensucky keeps saying they " have nothing to lose in this game". Meaning their coach has already hit his mark for year one, and they would be satisfied with just making it to the S-16.
Bullocks. You have to have nothing ( to gain) to truly play with nothing to lose. They have many reasons they want to win this game, and many things they lose by not winning this game.
So there will be just as much pressure on them as thre is on us.
As far as some of their apparent overconfidence, I explained in another post why I feel it is a net negative for them.
In short, most all their players (including the bench) played at or above their normal level. Many above.
They don't have the that stinging feeling of defeat fresh in their minds as added motivation, and they don't have all the players of their team working on improving their play from the last 2 times we played in the same way we will.
Hopefully Barnes is showing every man where they went wrong, and each is taking it personally upon themselves to play at the level they are capable of. We do that ( play at the level we are capable of) and we will win.
