Epic congratulations to Coach Richard Dale Barnes, the best and greatest coach in the history of Tennessee mens' basketball. The win over Kentucky on Friday night to advance to the Elite 8 for a second consecutive season, made him the winningest active coach in the game with 836 career wins. Notably, with the milestone having come at the expense of the Kentucky Wildcats, with 41 more wins he would pass Adolph Rupp on the all time wins list, which he would likely do in 2 more seasons should he elect to stay that long.
CONGRATS COACH BARNES, your name will forever be etched in Tennessee Basketball lore for what you have accomplished and continue to accomplish here!!!
