2025 Black Jerseys

Forgive me if this has been covered already, but does anyone know if we plan to wear the Black Jerseys this year?

I only ask because I'm tempted to buy a jersey, but I don't want to if they're not coming back. The Black Uniforms were my favorite look from the past few seasons, and we have always worn them at least once by this point in the year, so I'm beginning to doubt that they make an appearance this season. From my count, we've worn everything unveiled except for the new orange jerseys, and thrown in the orange's and cream's from last year.

If anyone has any info or speculation on the status of the Black Jerseys, I would appreciate it - thanks!

One of my funniest memories from Omaha is riding with Billy Amick in the elevator of the team hotel after Game Two. He was being really droll about who had the brilliant idea to wear black in that heat. And, of course, the team wore them again the next day and made history!

I was walking into the stadium in Omaha laughing when I saw the black jerseys.


Meanwhile I miss the "magical" 7th inning when I'm looking for ice water for the girlfriend so she wouldn't pass out.

Don't you dare speak those abominations into existence this year! Orange Script "Vols" every game!!!! Gray pants, white pants, pinstripe pants - I don't care! - but Orange Script "Vols" jerseys all the time!

Creams if needed, but still script.

I will be satisfied with Orange Power T on orange-piped clean white uniforms.

Heck, I will survive the "J"ennessee if I must, as the stripes are the unis are STRONG, it is "J"ust the font on Tennessee is a little "J"anky.

I'd rather see the "Volstros" unis from early this century. Those at least had sufficient Orange on them.

OP, if yo want a Tennessee jersey, go buy an ORANGE Tennessee jersey. Wear it with pride. Let them know who you pull for, even when walking up behind you in line.

I know I'm in the minority but I would be happy to never see the offwhite (cream) jerseys again. They look like white washed with a brown shirt. But again I understand I'm in the minority.

You do rock the Kirby custom checkerboard jersey very well. I think that might be the only done that I don’t have but it’s hard to get lost in a crowd with that one! 🍊😀😀👍👍👊👊😀😀🍊🍊
