Thanks Chuck
The house settlement states that athletes have to report any deal they sign with a third party that is worth more than $600
And that any such deal has to be for a vilid business purposes.
Soon they will be more sunshine on NIL deals 111111111
Still not convinced that those values will be for public consumption.

Maybe not but Missouri ad seems to think that in a two three years they would be able to cage their spending vs other universitys
He said that during a interview about Kellie Harper hiring.
I posted in the thread majors posted about Kellie Harper hiring.
Well maybe at least the university will get to see NIL deals.
From other university's deals.
Missouri ad seems to believe the university Will be able see what other university's are spending on there different sports teams.

Si has a story about NIL settlement if anyone wants to read it.
It was posted today
Landmark house settlement set for final approval: here's what to know SI

Kenny Brooks pull Cassidy Rowe scholarship.
It's to late for Cassidy Rowe to which for school because PT field does not take enrollment in middle of that course.
physical therapes.
Cassidy Rowe is going to have paid for senior herself.
She could have transfer to different school but would have to wait a year to finish physical therapy .
LSU Kim M. Kept a player who not going to play much.

While Kenny Brooks pull scholarship of a ky player who had two knee injurys while playing for the wildcats

Shouldn't this be in the Around the NCAA forum?
One more thing Cassidy Rowe delay her marriage.
So she wouldn't miss practice leading into this season.
She was one Kentucky players who always sign stuff for the fans after games and when she seen kids with posters or basketball balls.

To me the House settlement kills the tiger in front of you as three advance from behind.

The next lawsuit will change the game again, this just moves the changes another 3-6 years down the road when the next lawsuit gets to a settlement stage.

Hear her father take on it in the video or the article.
Cassidy Rowe love Kentucky to much to wear a different Jersey.
IMO loving a team or a coach too much can be an unintended bad trait. Loyalty can go too far sometimes when you're blinded by the light. It seems to happen to the best people. Sometimes the real world does not end up like the childhood fairy tales that are in the back of our minds. Sometimes the one or group you're loyal to look at you as a number, never forget that.

As much as university's are making off of the TV deals and fans tickets for games and concessions and and merchandise sold to fans.
They should aleast cover Cassidy Rowe tuition for her senior year.
Because even if she was to transfer portal she could not enrollment in a new university for physical therapy because you can start in middle . She would have to wait year to to enroll in a different university for physical therapy.
originally That's what most players took advantage of get a degree debt Free from tuition.
She injury her knee while at Kentucky.

Kenny Brooks said Cassidy Rowe tried blue tears went she meet with him her taking the job Kentucky.
Then to pull scholarship middle of term.
Without notice

They Kentucky should at least cover her senior year at Kentucky after all the NCAA advertises that majority of their athletes are going pro as doctors - teacher's - or something else than pro sports.

If the NCAA isn't going to honor a commitment of four years of scholarship.
When a player did plan to honor her commitment they charge their commercial that you can have a scholarship for four years if you injury your body and your production drops
While playing in college you can scholarship pull

After all this is a business now.
Don't talked about loyalty and family
And not aleast cover four years of College
When a player injury's her knee playing there.
And her body cannot play like before the knee injury's.

Kentucky only has seven scholarship players and that includes the one player they have coming in as a freshman. I bet he wishes now he had just let her stay on the roster cause now it is to late to mend the fact he let her go. The University of Kentucky probably should announce that she can stay on scholarship for school cost even if she is not on the team.

Looks like he is going to try to go portal very heavily. He will have to or he is looking at a second division finish in the SEC next season. I hope he can't get anybody needs to pay for letting her go when he had plenty of room for her to stay.

Yes should cover her housing on campus.
And her tuition
That would help him some with wildcats fans.
But a player with more than one year left.
Or any player should think twice before signing with a university pull scholarship middle of academic season.
not even wait to fall

credibility is like a windshield or mirror once it cracks .
it's never the same.
and loyalty at University of Kentucky doesn't have same selling pitch before this

Yep, the I swore she cried blue tears, seems so disingenuous now. This will follow Coach Kenny Brooks and as someone said in this thread earlier, he gives me bad vibes. I said that when he was at VT, I follow that program because I have a lot of friends tied to VT as former students and a couple of former football players.

I agree that this is a bad look for Kentucky. However, I think this is the flip side of NIL making college sports into a business. Rickey Gibson on the football team agreed to a new NIL deal for this coming year after the season, only to declare openly that he was going to jump into the portal after the spring once news broke that Jermod McCoy was injured(which gave Gibson more leverage). On all accounts, it appears that was a move to squeeze more money out of UT or leave if he didn't get it. Many people have defended him for such a move as being a "business" move that anyone else would make if they were in his position. I don't see that situation as being much different than what Brooks did at UK. I in no way agree with what he did, it just seems like the other side of that same coin.
