I gotta go with Auburn…..
Usually, I might just cheer for the SEC. — But since there are Two of them left, I’m cheering for Auburn!
1st of all: Bruce Pearl is not only a great coach - he’s a really good guy! (Not on the same scale as Ric Barnes)
— But, I remember when one of our players Dad died - And Pearl loaded the whole team on a bus & took them to the funeral. — Things like that are more important than competition or winning “games”!
2nd: I’ve never really had a problem with Auburn fans…..
— Not like their “illegitimate” & “illiterate” cousins from Tuscaloosa!
And, the “gator-chomp” is one of the most obnoxious images in college sports!
(I consider it worse than “Roow’l Tyde” & UGA fans “Wooo-fing” all the time……)
3rd: I honestly can’t stomach Florida winning another National Championship, right now!
— Their sports teams were working NIL before it ever even existed!: Tebow - Ya’ Think???!; Their “students” only go there to get access to sports tickets!; Their campus is a minor “blip”- inside of a whole Swamp of CRAP!; And, their fans are obnoxious as HELL!
(Call it BVS - or whatever! — But if Tennessee didn’t win it ALL in Baseball last year, we would probably ALL be in “disappointment mode”).
Let’s Go Auburn / Pearl! — And CHEERS to a Championship!!!
