How about the guy that lead the nation in 3's?

He looks pretty quick to me. And that release is almost Lanier quick. He is from Brooklyn, idk, maybe he is cut from the ZZ cloth. We could probably do worse.

He frequently shoots from Jahmai buzzer beater range (with 15 on the shot clock) so the 5'10's not really an issue. If they do guard him that far out, he's certainly quick enough to drive around them.

I don’t know anything about Honor Huff. Is he lightning quick like Z?
He may be a tick quicker but he’s much slighter. He’s not as heavy as ZZ or Sears who look like tailbacks. At least he doesn’t appear to be. I’d guess he weighs 155 pounds. He’s fun to watch in Dan Earls offense I can tell you that.

5'9" Zakai Zeigler translated pretty well.
ZZ had very long arms for a 5;9" guy. You usually hear them talk about long armed 6-8 guys being basically like having a mobile 7-footer. ZZ arm length helped in his steals and great D. I would say if he had some of those defensive attributes, he could be a good depth piece. I think Gillespie will get the major minutes at PG.

The 5’9” PGs are far more valuable when they have a guy that can post up near the basket and score. Defenses have a whole lot more to deal with when the low post can receive the ball 6-8 feet from the basket instead of only being a scoring threat inside of the restricted area semi-circle.
