Some things get really 'OLD'. This obsession with Gruden falls into this. I'm happy he never was hired as coach of Tennessee.

The unhealthy relationship goes both ways. I liked the idea of him being HC, but never took it very seriously. No one was leaving his cushy commentary gig that paid that much for the grind of CFB. If UT was a dream destination for him, the deal would have fallen into place quickly and the first time.

Sorry to break it to you but he is near the program. Was a guest on Voice of the Vols. Lives full time in Sevierville now. I would imagine he will attend some camps and coach’s clinics in the future by way of a personal invitation from CJH. It doesn’t make me feel better. I could care less actually. We have our guy and I’m thankful it never worked out with him. But that doesn’t change the fact that you and so many others are a bunch of drama queens when it comes to the mention of his name. Go Vols!
