If you could make a starting depth chart with players on roster from last 10 years, then who would you have?

QB - Hendon Hooker
RB - Dylan Sampson
WR - Josh Malone
WR - Jauan Jennings
WR - Jalin Hyatt
TE - Ethan Wolf
OL - Trey Smith
OL - Jashon Robertson
OL - Jerome Carvin
OL - Darnell Wright
OL - Cooper Mays

DL - Derek Barnett
DL - James Pearce
DL - Omari Thomas
DL - Omarr Norman-Lott
LB - Jaylen Reeves-Maybin
LB - Curt Maggitt
DB - Cam Sutton
DB - Todd Kelly Jr.
DB - Rashaan Gaulden
DB - Bryce Thompson
DB Jermod McCoy

You’re doing a disservice to the OL by presumably making Trey Smith a tackle. Henry T has to be one of the linebackers. Maggitt was at his best here when they made him a DE.

Idk how to choose a running back. Sampson had the best season, but I think the best actual player we have had at that position in the past 10 years is Alvin Kamara, he was just grossly underutilized.

I just went back and looked at the last 10 rosters.

RB - has to be Alvin Kamara
DT - would add Shy Tuttle
WR - would put Josh Palmer over Josh Malone

LB - we really haven't had a lot of good ones
Henry T was probably the best - hate to say

I'd probably slot in Alontae Taylor in at DB

Cool topic. Definitely some names that I woukd at least consider replacing some you your list:
Tillman or Palmer at WR. Shy Tuttle or Darrell Taylor on DL. Alontae Taylor or Moseley at CB. AJ Johnson at LB. I would also add that although the stats might beg to differ, I would probably take Kamara, Hurd, and maybe even Jaylen Wright over Sampson.

Marquez Callaway over Josh Malone for me. Even though he left, To’to’o over Maggit. Or Keenan Pili, he had so much potential but never was healthy. And Alantae Taylor in over Gaulden

Gaulden was solid his whole time, Taylor only blew up to a 2nd round guy when Martinez began coaching him his last season. He wasn’t even draft worthy until his last season.

Malone and Hyatt were both 1 year wonders at Tennessee.

Aaron Beasley and Daniel Bituli were more impressive than Henry T imlo

I started on who was on roster from 2015 till current. AJ Johnson was 2014. Emmanuel Moseley was terrible at Tennessee at corner. Henry T is not a Vol and never will be remembered as one. Malone had better stats then Callaway and Palmer

Callaway and Palmer had to deal with JG at QB while Malone had Dobbs.

Oh yes my bad, Bituli was WAY better. I see your point on Taylor

Henry T couldn't cover a slant pass to save his life.

Dobbs would be better than Hooker in Huepel's system. Far better runner and just as good as a passer. Butch Jones held that entire team back. Also Kamara and Hurd were far better RBs than Sampson. Maybe even Kelly. That squad just had no o-line. Give them a better offensive line and they would feast.

No. Hell no haha.

I love Dobbs, but Hendons mechanics were superior and it showed that in his passing accuracy.
