So the time has finally come for me to bring my boys to their first UT game on 10/11! We will be travelling from the Pacific NW and need some help on when to look for tickets (and where). Know this is early but we have travel sorted and I typically don't need to worry about 4 seats together and don't want to risk things going crazy once the season starts. Any advice is appreciated!

Need four seats, prefer lower boal on Tenn. side of the field (Assume this is best for their first game, thoughts?) Is StubHub/SeatGeek the only option? Note: Most current options are on Visitors side, not sure why.

The boys will be 16 and 13, any great spots to eat (Obvi Litton's)? Have not been to Knoxville since 2012 so not sure what is there now. Will likely be staying downtown.

Tailgate options open to public on gameday?

Considerations I am not thinking of?

Thanks my VolNation friends, beyond excited to finally share a gameday experience, in Knoxville, with my entire fam!

You’ll be blown away by the changes at the stadium since you were there last

One thing I would suggest is to think about staying somewhere but downtown, as the hotel prices are absurd in-season, if that matters to you. We went down for the A&M game in 2023 and stayed at a nice place in Cedar Bluffs, where there are some really nice hotels at decent rates. It's a short drive to town, where parking is easy to find at one of the lots, then a short walk to the stadium.

Thank you! We were a bit shocked most room were $700+. VRBOs were better but not by much, will look into it! Thanks again, really appreciate the tip.
