Let's say you are the decision maker. Would you renegotiate with Nico right now, or move on and let someone else pony up more money?

I understand that he's played one full season as a redshirt freshman. Has he done enough in your mind to earn more at this time? How do you feel about the timing of this during spring camp?

Continuity is important. We have also yet to consider the fact that he MIGHT be doing this to take less money to allow UT to upgrade at other positions. About a 5% chance that's the case, but we don't know the whole story. I, for one, am still a BIG believer in Iamaleava

I have a serious question if someone could tell me. Where is the actual proof that Nico has tried to renegotiate his NIL? I haven't read any credible proof from Nico or anyone connected to him that has negotiated or renegotiated his deal. All I have seen is a bunch of click bait artist jumping on a suggestion that he has initiated this.

If he wants to be here he'll be here. If he wants to go I won't lose sleep. So far he's proven himself nothing more than an avg qb. He's only looked good against weak opponents but at least he doesn't throw a lot of interceptions. He scored 20 tds last regular season. Against Oklahoma, Ark, Fla, Georgia, and Alabama he had a combined total of 2 tds.

I'm sure he has the potential to be a great SEC qb, but we haven't seen it yet.

his NIL deal is with Spyre, so why would I care if he's telling those mopes to get him more money
