Any other transfers?

Yes, but I'm sorry i can't recall who "reported" it. Was likely something I heard on YouTube from either Pate or one of the VQ guys. Whoever it was didn't name names.

I don't have anything of substance, as the focus has been on the QB. I think Spyre and Heupel are going to be working overtime to keep folks like Mathews, B Carter, and Gibson. The news should start leaking on those situations very soon.
Haven’t these situations already been resolved in the past few weeks and months?

Man, I am going to be honest: I think nothing is settled. Just because some guy signed a deal doesn't mean he won't transfer at the first sign of trouble. From what I understand: the only way teams can keep players is if there is something in the deal where the NIL fund can claw back some of what they have paid. However, the athletes have so much power that they could work out a deal with the next school where they "buyout" some of that clawback. Not every player has a deal like that though. Smart players keep that money in a bucket ready to throw back to the university knowing they are getting a new bucket of cash the second they touch down at the next school.

Nothing legally stops a player from leaving. They have every ounce of leverage. If they do not like a coach, think they could have a better opportunity somewhere else, or get offered a crap ton of money, they are gone man.

This system sucks. Coaches and NIL collectives have to constantly re-recruit their roster at every transfer window.

An example: we never got a solid confirmation that Gibson was even going to return. We also have Boo Carter, who basically told the staff he wanted to be Travis Hunter jr or he was bolting to Colorado (still can btw).

This system is terrible and is killing the sport.

We have to get to a point where there’s a buyout or something involved to keep these guys from playing these games.

Nah we’re good there.

These kids have eyes, and they see the bad judgment made by Nico. This ain’t the pros.

That may be the case with Matthews and Gibson, but as we’ve seen with our own eyes on here Boo has a similar camp around him as Nico and I could easily see him hitting the portal Wednesday for Boulder considering he likely realizes he’s not going to get quite the opportunities to make big offensive plays as he would’ve with Nico at QB

I honestly do not think we are "good" with Matthews and Gibson either. They have in demand skills that can easily transfer to a different team, along with Boo.

I cannot emphasize this enough: the kids have all the power. Nico's camp fumbled this, but nothing is really stopping the rest from pursuing a huge payday.

Can't do it without employee status, unionization, and the right to strike

Private NIL can't be directly tied to any school and it is illegal for any third party to cap it.
I know. That’s what I meant, that we have to get to a point. I don’t know how we get there, but something needs to happen .
