On the Andy and Ari pod Nakos said that his about Tennessees QB situation.

1. We've "kicked the tires" on potential QBs

2. Tennessee staff views this roster as championship worthy and desire a QB that can deliver results. We are swinging big.

3. We aren't taking a warm body if we strike out but getting someone to compete with Merk or GMAC for the starting spot.

They got at least $2.4 mil to offer someone......I'd be suprised if they couldn't pull in a pretty good QB........may not be adjusted or ready to go Game 1 but if they can push Merk and be a solid contender for QB1 several games in I'll be super happy.......love to get a 1 year left senior or super senior who's a solid leader also.

If you look at what Callahan and AP suggested, it's very insightful. They Make it seem like we're riding with Merk

I want the guy from KSU. But there are others that I think could be good.. those of you saying not to get a QB need to understand we need at least 3 on the roster.
