1st Slaughter now Charles, I guess that means Farooq and Goree are ready to step up. I liked what I saw from Farooq last year, he seemed like he played aggressively and physically in the little time he played.

He has given his all for UT, but has apparently been passed up by Farooq and Goree. Plus UT brought in 5 DBs with latest class. No shame in a guy leaving to get a starting job somewhere else. The same goes for all the Dec. transfers. None of them were starters except Squirrel.

Valid points. Though I was disappointed when Kaleb Webb transferred. Thought he might be the next one to step up.

That's absurd.

If your son was a junior engineering major at UT and absolutely loved UT but got an offer from MIT to finish up there - and they would pay him 200k to do so - you would encourage your son to jump at the opportunity; while also never losing his love and appreciation for UT.

A lot of the spring portal guys are leaving for playing time or they were shown the door by the coaches because they got passed up in spring practice. I doubt Charles and Slaughter are leaving for money. Both are being passed up on the depth chart and see all the Freshman talent coming in.
