Yeah got to give him props for sticking it out this long. With the 2 IOL that came in December portal he wasn't moving up any. Go somewhere he can play and get a little cash. He still will be getting a lot more than I'm making.

Agreed. For me, this is the good part of the portal. He got recruited over and is not going to get playing time, so he has a chance to move to a program where he has more opportunity.

Actually most in the portal are either not playing much and make a move down to get playing time. Or they are playing in a smaller conference or at a smaller university and are excelling greatly and want to make a move up into better competition and possibly help their career. Of course there is a smaller amount looking for the highest bidder. But things are going to stabilize and over time folks are going to learn jumping around for dollars might not always be the best thing. Actually there has been a percentage that enter the portal that never get picked up. So some folks might want to have done their homework before they jump out there with no sure destination. GBO
