It’s not every time with kids from Cali…see Bru McCoy and Jaxson Moi for recent examples and there are plenty historical examples of kids from Cali that worked out great for us.

I never have and never will contribute. If these kids want to make 2 million they need to get out and earn it by marketing their name, likeness and image. NIL was never meant to pay the players it was meant to all allow them to profit from their name and image.

Get those 2*s that bleeeeed orange and roll with it. That rivalry w Vandy gets back in full swing and Heup is fired after going 5-7, 4-8, & 6-6. Makes me feels all warm and fuzzy now tho.

!!! The collectives are who created this mess in the first place. Quit purchasing the rights to their name and leave it up to individual players to negotiate their worth with potential clients.

You should really take a stand and abstain from CFB altogether. Spyre didn't create it. The NCAA, schools, networks - the fans - turned it into big business a long while ago. We just don't get to exclude the worker-bee anymore, and it's not reverting.

Georgia has been going much heavier on State of Georgia players the last cycle or two, and it makes sense. You aren't immune to these shenanigans but they are less likely from the homegrown. If Nico was from Tennessee, he'd have had to think harder about doing what he has done even if he wanted to, due to fear of backlash back home. Regardless, I don't think now is the time to cut Spyre though.

I disagree.

The problem is the NCAA. They foolishly put their head in sand and said we will not allow pay for play but you can give dollars and call it NIL.

IF the NCAA said we will now allow you to pay and for that pay you can ask for a kid to sign a contract wih a term on it, then the NCAA could have allowed schools to prevent a kid from transferring if the kid had a contract to play at your school.

The problem is the lack of contract. Very few corporate jobs paying 7 figures a year don’t have written contracts…..

Simple solution but as always the NCAA does 100% the wrong thing 100% of the time.
