Just buy Vol gear and not specific player gear until they are in their last season. I get wanting to rep Vol players and Vols at same time, but this will continue to be an issue.

Think of how much memorabilia and how many Nico jerseys were given to kids just this past Christmas.

I have thought to myself about how many Nico jerseys people will still be wearing in Neyland, lol. Seems impossible, but yall know we're gonna see them.

Lots of kids in third world countries will probably be wearing Nico jerseys the next few years.
Just like those "3-PEAT" KC Chiefs Hats....

Grandson asked me if I would be mad if got rid of the Nico jersey I got him last year. He is 13. Just saying it out loud. Nil is bad for fans.
I stopped buying Jerseys with numbers on them when I was in my 30's, way before NIL. I realized I was wearing the number of an 18 year old kid...............

I would put a ban on those jerseys entering the stadium and give them a Vols t-shirt to wear at the entrance. Need to go ahead and put out a public warning those jerseys will not be allowed in Neyland.

My son has a #8 Nico tee shirt. He had it on at an 8 year old birthday party over the weekend. He wanted to wear it one last time after we told him Nico left. He got home, took it off and asked my husband to burn it in the firepit the next time we built a fire. 😂
Fortunately, Sampson is his main guy so he has a real Sampson jersey to sport as well.

How a young man can go from rockstar status to villain in an instant due to bad advice is beyond words. He had it all in front of him but ego along with stupidity from his “camp” burnt it down. We will see if he can rebuild it in the next few years.

I usually just customize a jersey and put my own name and number on it. I'm true to my teams. Had a custom Titans jersey way back in High School if that tells you anything. Been roughing it out with my Vols and Titans all these years. Ain't goin nowhere.

Honestly, I’d sort of like to see us go back to the days of nameless jerseys again since these guys are pay for play and we just need to get used to guys testing their market and splitting as soon as a better offer comes along.

Maybe after their college career is in the books; we honor them by Putting their jersey in the rafters with their name on it and then the fans can buy them. I’ll always cherish my Manning, Dobbs and Hooker jerseys but I have absolutely no desire to buy a current players jersey.
