I was also unaware that there was a safety from LSU named Major Burns. How did I miss that?

Edit-while he was no longer a Vol, Slaughter got signed. Good for him.

I stand corrected on him. Posted a few times that he’d never done enough in his 5 years to draw NFL attention. Shows how much I know. Hope he makes the roster or at least the practice squad.

I stand corrected on him. Posted a few times that he’d never done enough in his 5 years to draw NFL attention. Shows how much I know. Hope he makes the roster or at least the practice squad.

I always wished him well but was a skeptic, especially after Y3. He really benefited from the depth we had in his last year. In the right situations, he can come in fresh and be super disruptive. Hope he finds a role in KC.

I was hoping someone would give Cooper a shot. But it was a bad sign when he was excluded from the scouting combine:

He had a lot of starts. I don't remember him being hurt the last 3 seasons.

He might not be as fast as others in his position. However, if he can read a play fast and react faster, he essentially IS faster than other players.

It’s why he made so many big time plays for the Vols, especially last year.
