Tennessee has sold out its season-ticket allotment for a third straight year, while nearly 24,000 fans are on a waiting list for tickets.

Tennessee Football has sold out its season ticket allotment of 70,500 for a third straight year, the Vols announced on Tuesday. Another 23,755 fans are currently on a season-ticket waiting list.

Coming off a playoff year, I don’t think many are doing a deep dive into the roster and prognostication for their buying decision.

Any reason the number of season tickets are capped at 70,500? They obviously didn't have that cap in 2016. Does Ticketmaster get the remaining tickets to sell as single game tickets?
