Is this kid good? Small school without a lot of suitors (other than Michigan). I trust Gardner but does anyone have any intel on his skillset?

Michigan just had both of their DT go in the first round of the NFL draft so maybe they know something.
This was supposedly RG's top choice from the portal as well and I know he knows something.

4.19.25: "The Badgers were listed among several programs in contact with Grand Valley State transfer defensive lineman Josh Schell. 247Sports' Allen Trieu reported the interest, a group that includes Wisconsin, Kansas, Iowa, Syracuse and SMU. He also noted that the defensive lineman has a visit scheduled to Washington State."
Wisconsin football reportedly in contact with popular transfer defensive lineman

12.20.20: "Schell, who stands in at 6-foot-4 and 255 pounds, was unstoppable at defensive end this season as he was constantly in the offensive backfield creating havoc. He had over 20 Division I offers on the table and is the son of Mt. Pleasant boys basketball coach Dan Schell, who played both baseball and basketball at CMU in the 1990s. Schell finished with 48 tackles this fall and earned first-team All-SVL honors. He also caught five passes for 79 yards and rushed it three times for 26 yards. He was a three-year starter for the Oilers and is expected to play on the defensive line at Army."

Sorry, but I have a hard time getting excited about a kid I’ve never heard of transferring from a school I’ve never heard of in a conference I’ve never heard of.

To be fair, the only thing you DO get excited about is booze. That's it.
