Yup, the Big 3 have never been collectively better in Knoxville.I have to tell you...this is fairly accurate. Don't think it is an accident that we suddenly are good at sports we have not consistently been that great at for decades before $$$$$$ to the players hit such grand numbers. Sports is important to us. Much more so than other areas of our lives versus the average person out there. We have a lot of fans that place a lot of self value on how UT sports does.
I think this list may be accurate...but remember, this is just the collectives. If boosters want to drop a few million on a recruit like Underwood or Nate Ament, they can simply drop that money and it isn't coming from the collective.Considering they just dropped 8 figures on Underwood a few months ago-probably a wise query.
As a fan, I like seeing us that high on the list. Then my brain kicks in and I realize there are more than a few questions
Some crazy takeaways: Mizzou at 10, Ole Miss at 6, Nebraska 8
Bama, Auburn. TAMU, UGA, LSU, UF not ranked
Tennessee is ranked number 2
This is a sickening and ultimately embarrassing take… if you place self value on a college football team you have some serious work to do on yourself.I have to tell you...this is fairly accurate. No we’re still behind plenty. The boosters make the difference.Kind of contradicts these threads about us not being able compete in NIL. We spread it around more and it has produced fantastic results, both competitively and financially for the programs
DW knows what he is doing
We're a national contender in virtually all our sports.
Ohio State kicked our asses in the PLAYOFFS, similar to the other games they played. In a fair seeding we wouldn't have been playing them, but that's actually beside the point. How did their basketball program stack up to our elite 8 team? Oh yeah, their baseball team to one that won the National Championship? We can go down the listNo we’re still behind plenty. The boosters make the difference.

So it may be true that Tennessee has the 2nd richest collective, but we're behind others in outright booster money.
Agree 100% We are far from the poverty program some here like to think we areKind of contradicts these threads about us not being able compete in NIL. We spread it around more and it has produced fantastic results, both competitively and financially for the programs

I think we’re spreading the funds around. Would love to see football get more.Kind of contradicts these threads about us not being able compete in NIL. We spread it around more and it has produced fantastic results, both competitively and financially for the programs

I'm with you on that. I love Vol basketball and I'm happy that our baseball program is successful. That being said TN Football is my undying passion and has been for damn near 40 years. The outcome of a game can alter my mental health and mood for weeks. Hell I'm 44 and I cried like a baby girl when we beat Bama in 2022. There's few things in this world I want more than seeing my Vols win a NattyI think we’re spreading the funds around. Would love to see football get more.
