There’s still some good players out there, but we have a team of good players already.Just don’t see much left out there that is any better than what we have. I had hoped for a WR or S but don’t see it.
Am I wrong?
It's hard to tell with this staff. They usually keep things close to the vest, but i've been really confused about why they haven't been pursuing a safety in the portal more aggresively after the last minute loss of the commit.Just don’t see much left out there that is any better than what we have. Yep, just need some more experience........talent is there. There’s still some good players out there, but we have a team of good players already.
If you’re a person that lives off star rankings then we had two former Top 100 QBs that both performed decent to good during the Orange and White game pre-Aguilar.
At every position we have guys that could almost play for anyone.
Yeah it's a bit puzzling. Saving $$$ on Nico, and it's not like we can't stand toe to toe w/ schools like LSU and Ole Miss who are cranking in portal. Understand wanting to build from within with a balanced approach, but as we stand right now, I'm not totally convinced, even if we have even QB play to last year, that we are a better team from a depth position and in impact players on D, OL, WR. Maybe we do...guess we'll see.Not easy to get a high level WR to come to TN with huge question marks at QB position.
Was hoping to add a WR, RT, another DT, and a safety.
We've been very lackluster in the portal while other teams are killing it.
We certainly aren’t & anyone saying otherwise are looking through extremely orange-tinted glassesYeah it's a bit puzzling.
